With the rise of cloud-based and multi-tenant (MTDC) models, today’s data center is increasingly comprised of multiple buildings rather than a single structure. This campus-style architecture presents unique challenges relating to the physical layer and high-density fiber connectivity between buildings as they migrate to 400GbE connections. In this session, CommScope, Aligned Energy, Digital Realty and NTI will discuss the various options for designing cable plants to accommodate a campus-style architecture and present a wide range of bulk fiber cabling, single-ended fiber trunks and termination splicing hardware solutions. We’ll also discuss the practical installation challenges posed by these architectures and how they can be addressed.
ON-DEMAND SESSION: The live session for this webinar was held on December 6 , but the on-demand session can be viewed at any time by registering.
