TMAs to match Orange’s growth targets

For more than 30 years, CommScope has been a TMA pioneer, working with customers all over the world to deliver thousands of customized, interoperable and super reliable tower-mounted amplifier (TMA) configurations. We’re especially proud to serve Orange as a key customer.

But, in the drive to improve the uplink budget, what are some of the requirements to keep in mind when it comes to TMAs? In this short video, CommScope account manager, Kim Ashby gives a brief run-down on the key functional requirements of a high-performing TMA. It pays to know.

Take the direct route to 5G

You’ll know that the speed of 5G uptake is already far higher than 4G uptake was in the early stages of adoption. With rapid growth looking set to continue comes a unique set of challenges for designing an optimum 5G network that delivers ROI, consistently.

Our latest point-of-view paper proposes a pragmatic approach to network planning that utilizes 8T8R as the building blocks of 5G network RF design, while also using other configurations at relevant sites. It’s a must-read in the quest to deliver optimal coverage and capacity, profitably.

Innovating, aesthetically

In our latest innovation – the NOVUX™ Retractable Cable Façade Solution – aesthetics was a key design consideration. Recently, we tested this new, patented cable solution in field trials with Orange at two historic sites in Spain: one in Santiago de Compostela, and another in a village in Caceres. With the primary objective to reduce visual impact, the solution has surpassed expectations. Read all about it on our web page.
